You are coming to a sad realization. Cancel or allow?

I didn't clog for two weeks. Pablo asked "where do you go when you go away?" I didn't go anywhere, but I got a fuckload of stuff done:

  • I really focused on work, and finally got on top of things
  • exercise (swimming & walking)
  • buttsecks
  • established a healthy sleep pattern
  • uninstalled a hog of a computer security program (rhymes with "Florton") and replaced with a better program... thus preventing me from throwing my computer off the bacony in a fit of frustration
  • saw The Lives of Others. God, I miss Berlin.
  • kept up with household crap like cleaning, dishes, and laundry
  • applied for a new job
If I had done all of this stuff plus clogging... well, I couldn't. My sleep would have suffered. And I don't function when I'm sleep-deprived.

I have missed the clog camaraderie; sadly, in order to achieve some very pressing goals (new job, weight reduction), something must be extracted from the schedule.

I haven't quit the clog. Yet.

Wow, you really did get on top of things. Especially the list item where it sounds like you were really on top. Or not. Whatever - great list.

I know just what you need about needing to take a blogging break in order to attend to real life clutter.

I find that keeping up with blogs doesn't take much time as long as you just leave comments without reading the posts.

Phronk is indeed correct. I find that I can blog quickly if I accept that I don't have to spell check, make mostly sense and just let people know when I am going to be MIA for a day or two.

Glad you have quit and I missed you!

I cleaned the fridge. You win.

oh.. and I'm having a hard time believing that you didn't have the buttsecks at other times, because you posted more often.

LOL@Salem. Buttsecks never gets in the way of my blogging. Buttsecks never gets in the way of me doing anything.

I feel you. I am taking a break starting next week, to focus on more important things.

Good for you, Madame!!

btw, I think that's good. I still like to read your clog. And Florton rhymes with Horton Hears A Who. Get the stupid elephant comparison? I kill me.

all those things are NOT as important as clogging. (MLOYD YOU ROCK FOR PRIORITIZING) good luck with the job, hugs. xo

If you people stop entertaining me, I will be angry.

Sounds like things are looking up!

Exercise, sex, pc-cleaning and Berlin... I only remember "Take My Breath Away." What else did they sing?

I know how to clog. I can almost tap dance.

So applying for new job? good luck i am sure it will go well! :-)

No matter how many things you do, the key is do whatever it makes you feel good and realised at the end of the day it has been a productive day. Allthough...we all have our ups and downs and lazyness and we have to sort of deal with that...

HUGS!!!!

It seems like a lot of people have been taking holidays from clogging which is good (you DID get a lot done!) but it's nice to be back too. When clogging who needs a real life?

So-called "real life" is for poor people. And what IS up with everyone bailing out of the blogging life? Myself included, I mean. Is this the sort of thing that you do for a while and then grow tired of? I hate change.
