I don't understand Windows Media Player 11

I don't remember how long I've had a copy of "Let it Snow" by Harry Connick Jr. I can say with confidence that in previous versions of Windows Media Player, I had the song categorized as Christmas or holiday -- but not ethnic. I'm pretty anal about how I categorize my digital music files.

I fought with this program for most of last Sunday, trying to burn a couple of mixed CDs. It was a frustrating experience. I lost playlists on several occasions -- after thinking that I had properly saved them.

And I find it annoying that I can't deactivate the setting that displays little CD icons for all of the album artwork. It's too much.

Try getting it to talk to an Xbox. That's like getting the right track for a drunk drag queen while shouting over club music while you're shaving your balls.

heehee. I find the 'ethnic' label great.

Yeah. I haven't found any good music organization software. iTunes is OK but has a whole lot of stupid little issues. Winamp has become almost the same as Media Player. Ugh.

And DR is right about the Xbox thing.

I think that before anyone makes any more computers or introduces any new features, they should make software that's been around for 10 years actually start working properly.

are you sure you can't change that?

Just use Itunes. It's easier and you won't have an anxiety attack.

iTunes all the way.

Generally I am impressed with iTunes. For one of the CDs from said burning session, I switched over to it and there was much less frothing at the mouth.

Kunstemæcker: yes, I can

everyone else: I agree with you 100%

It's all perspective. I'm sure it's ethnic to somebody. Did you buy an Asian computer?

You honkeys are so sensitive about race.

Media Monkey's free and not part of the Apple empire, if you don't like the Apple empire.

I have ethnic balls.

Anyone ever notice how Microsoft's software is usually fucking Horrible?

I wish I had access to your computer so I could toss all of your music into one folder and edit down all of your categories to Ethnically Miscellaneous.
